How long does it take?
To get over the loss,
To forget the pain?
A friend, like a brother,
Killed in cold blood, but bore of his mother.
How long does it take?
Before I stop being angry,
Before I start to forgive?
A camper, always so wild
Beaten to death, still just a child.

For me to move on,
To accept that he's gone?
