A Strange Poem Written in a Storm
"Strike, strike Valarius!"
Said Sophocles to his end
When thunders boom the loading docks
The minds of men will bend
Crass the lighting shines like fire
All your fortress--gone
Weakish clay who's dark desire
Wish kingly of virgin fawn
O, when you hear be thousands unafraid
When thunder and lighting come near you
O, what petty and mortal shade
When thunder and lightning come near you.
Said Sophocles to his end
When thunders boom the loading docks
The minds of men will bend
Crass the lighting shines like fire
All your fortress--gone
Weakish clay who's dark desire
Wish kingly of virgin fawn
O, when you hear be thousands unafraid
When thunder and lighting come near you
O, what petty and mortal shade
When thunder and lightning come near you.
