About The Cat
Welcome to my home,
Yes, I see
You've met my cat
His name is Bubby
But that doesn't matter,
He meows constantly
Begging for food
He is now nineteen
Old, I know
But more importantly
Do not trust the cat
He is a liar and a thief
A murderer, even
He has killed babies
Entire families,
Thrown their bodies at my feet,
Then begged for food
Can't you see?
The cat has no morals
No sense of decency
You cannot, cannot trust the cat
He flings his litter free
To go everywhere but the box
Then he watches me
Clean it up, again
Eyes full of glee
Every day for nineteen years
Oh, pardon me,
Of course you can pet him
I suppose, I figured you'd be
Wary, after I told you....
