The Greatest Friend I've Ever Had
The greatest friend I’ve ever had
Left me, feeling sad.
Alone time is all she needs
I can’t view this with greed.
They had an unbreakable bond;
but all she had to do was respond.
Be careful of who you let hurt you--
trust is definitely a virtue.
When people run their mouth,
things go south.
Leaving us up north,
Alone without any worth.
The memories weren’t half bad
With the greatest friend I’ve ever had.
