Unslept Nights

Sometimes i wake up in the night
to the sizzling of memories
calling of pictures i wish
had never stopped being painted
the scent of old galaxy
songs from before the war
you are no longer here
but the danger is gone.

Is there a star in the universe
worth orbiting
is there one that could keep me floating
like your eyes did
two singularities
end of everything
but you won
you won
and yet you still
are gone...

It was a night like any other
ecxept the world was falling
and you were the at the very edge
of the ending line
walking into embrace of death
i begged you not to leave me behind
all was there and then
when i heard it from your eyes
you loved me...

The stories they tell
about your life
the fire in their mouth
but i was there
right by your side
touched and felt the beauty of your mind
so how am i supposed to ever
even try to say goodbye ?

mabye in the space
endless lights
i can see you
we can be one,
