Until the sun shines

Every time you say you will never cry again, it seems like that day is always just one more tear away.
You know the storms will come and go but sometimes it seems the rain wants to stay.
But you keep holding on waiting on the sun to shine.
And Lord knows its hard when you can't see the light through the blinds.
You don't want to go outside knowing it's only clouds in the sky.
You have been jumping over puddles but still ending up wet, so now you're wondering why try.
You have been crossing your fingers while looking for a four leaf clover.
Its storm after storm but the rainbow doesn't seem to be getting any closer.
You would chase the end if you could see the road.
But with the rivers of your tears you can't see which way to go.
Is there a light in the distance waiting on you.
How can you be sure when you can't even see a star or the moon.
You want to give up but you can't let go.
You feel like you're shrinking like say it ain't so.
You wonder if you matter.
You have been crying a river wondering if it will lead to better.
