courage

thousands of doubts
incepted
in the cold friction
of the clicking teeth
of gears within clocks

so beautifully designed
cohesion
invading
and expands
the space of hesitation

a dirty old man
with another victory
against
the reckless youth
so fierce is the reason

hide and seek
behind social norms
repainted masks
putting new names
on old games

seducing young parents
with dreams
and wishful thinking scenery
of innocent infants
running around pointlessly

as pubic hair
courage grows
with age and sex
to only get
trimmed again

leaving a shameful scent
of ass
or armpit
or other women smells
where the limbs meet

as smell cannot
be washed away
completely
so does the pubic hair
in silent fashion

breaking through the skin
again
…from within

“You have a great deal of courage, Dagny. Some day, you’ll have enough of it.”
“What? Courage?”
He didn’t answer.
