Love Rehabilitation

My heart ain't the same as it once was
So I can't love the same as I once loved
I can't open any doors to let you in
Cause any movement of the structure causes cave-ins
I used to be intangible, no one could touch me
And now the gentlest of pressures can disrupt me
Any gust of wind causes tornadoes within me
And I've developed unhealthy levels of sensitivity
Affected deeply
In ways I wasn't aware of
Fell in, fell out, and now I'm trying to get over love
It used to be the best part of me
But now it leaves me drowning, struggling to breathe
But its people who I must maintain an image for
False exteriors,painful interiors
Smiling when I just really want to fall apart on these floors
(To be continued)
