Loving Truth
The ice flakes vast intrinsic structure
Shaped by nature
The elegance in the blooming spring flower
Or the sunlight that precisely shines through
The raindrop after a winters shower
Love may be found there
Now tell me, if you dare say I tell lies
That when I say, that I look into your eyes
I see a beauty that shines much brighter
A fire within me burns even lighter
The love I have for you trumps the prior
If you do believe
I'm being dishonest
Then on this day, I make a vow
A rewarding promise
To show you that you must
Have this love for yourself
Before you can accept it
From anybody else
