Laughter
The mirror whispers of secrets
Hints of heartbreak and regrets
Tainted love and boiling rage
A monster no longer contained
Pocket full of blackened memories
Tight-lipped smile of poisoned berries
Singed and full of darkness
I turn from my likeness
Insanity bleeds from my fingers
Wisps of smoke still lingers
A trail of sorrow follows me
Clinging to the vestiges of morality
Shadows consume my eyes
Guarding their sordid insides
Sirens and lights, I'm waking
Hands probe and displace me
Fractured thoughts fall on deaf ears
My tongue is too thick to be clear
Room after room, they take me
Everyone mumbles of safety
The mirror hides nothing
I'm stark naked and raving
My love has burned to the ground
I was all that was found
Clutching the remnants of disaster
The only sound was laughter
Hints of heartbreak and regrets
Tainted love and boiling rage
A monster no longer contained
Pocket full of blackened memories
Tight-lipped smile of poisoned berries
Singed and full of darkness
I turn from my likeness
Insanity bleeds from my fingers
Wisps of smoke still lingers
A trail of sorrow follows me
Clinging to the vestiges of morality
Shadows consume my eyes
Guarding their sordid insides
Sirens and lights, I'm waking
Hands probe and displace me
Fractured thoughts fall on deaf ears
My tongue is too thick to be clear
Room after room, they take me
Everyone mumbles of safety
The mirror hides nothing
I'm stark naked and raving
My love has burned to the ground
I was all that was found
Clutching the remnants of disaster
The only sound was laughter
