Daffodils In The Rain

This old truck takes me where I need to go
White lines, they seem to move so slow
Like memories fading into the black top
It's when I miss you the most

I remember our first kiss our first fight
Picking flowers on the roadside at night
You sittin' with your bags packed
As the tears were falling like rain
You said our love would never change

Remember, all that we had
The good times and bad
Remember all the pain we went through
Your smile made it all worth while
always love you
Like daffodils in the rain
My heart has never been the same

She'll never understand
But she stills holds my hand
Being in love with someone that's never there
I guess it's the loneliness we both share

I wish I could just let go
I'll hold on, for one more day...
Like a dancer in a ballet

Remember, all that we had
The good times and bad
Remember all the pain we went through
Your smile made it all worth while
I'll always love you
Like daffodils in the rain
My heart has never been the same

Like daffodils in the rain... my heart has never been the same
