Sleepy cat eye's
Sleepy cat eye's
looks tired although
he is wide awake.
A sly slow moving stroll
he make's his way through town.
Taking in the morning air,
thoughts about how today
an oh so special day,
has finally arrived.
Finding ones strength,
believing in that strength.
Revealing all weakness,
unyielding to defeat.
There is a time and place
where he stands ready
to face this life.
day and here now
looking so tired
those sleepy cat eye's
look to the wind.
looks tired although
