Bittersweet

Plagued by bittersweet words, that formed a trust, then budded into romances; yet, longed for more, filled our minds with regret towards us.

Believing those bittersweet words that rung in our hearts, made us forget about us and how this love came to start.

Wishing for the touch of your hands across my flesh, your gentle lips pressed against mine. We continued to believe those bittersweet words, would stand the test of time.

Pulling at the strings that sewn together our fates, those bittersweet words begin to twist and break.

Now broken and torn apart from where we started. We close ourselves off and hardened our hearts. Just to have those bittersweet words creep back into our hearts.
