How do I get through to you?
I used to think I did something wrong,
But that wasn’t the problem,
Was it all too good to be true?
If so why did it begin in the first place?
But you see, I had already knew,
I knew this happiness would not last,
I felt it the first day you looked at me
That smile of your’s looked too good to be true,
And I knew it wasn’t meant for me,
But for the idea of me,
The girl you saw from afar,
The girl that looked better from a perspective,
A bent delusional perspective of your retrospective.

Sometimes do seem to be to good to be true. And we tend to messed them up. Good way to express it.
