The Cemetery Boy
I have always loved you
What for, I know not why
Flowers do not bloom here
Under the nuclear sky
I am but a memory
A fragile bird skull you took
You crushed me until I died
With a single withering look
I wish I’d never met you
Or that the sun would explode
But you’re written in my stories
And carved into my bones
