Not Meant to be Loved
~I’m just a creature who’s broken
If you were to try and fix me
you’ll end up with only disappointment~
I have a way of complicating things
turning something great into hate
wasted my day looking at a pretty face
admiring what will only come to pass
unrelenting truth that makes life painful
sorry to say, darling
I’m a monster with many wants and needs
a flame that burns when people come too close
even though unintentional
but darkness is in my blood
It runs through my veins
so does lust and sex
I want all and everything
how I see things
I don’t need to fall in love
forever can be a moment
just riding the wave
seeing where it takes me
drowned by my wrongs
ghost in the halls
poison to all
not meant to be loved
forevermore…

Such a vulnerable write, and achingly sad.
Everyone deserves love. It is what we as humans, so desperately crave. All the in betweens are just details.
I think self healing and love, are so very important, and must be a priority, so love can be given wholeheartedly.
