Unspoken

Why do these thoughts I had of us still remain in my head
Of loving emotions left unspoken, so many words left unsaid
What could have been of us I wonder if I would have only found a way
To overcome my bashfulness, somehow make you mine and sweep you away

Do you still think of me as often, would I even stand a chance
Can I somehow offer you my love, start a whirlwind romance
Are you out there waiting for me to offer an overdue gesture
Would it even make a difference now, did I let these feelings overly fester

Your beauty is much more than just appearance, a kind that never gets old
It's a special brand of beauty that shines from the depth of ones soul
Regardless of the outcome this is a love I fear I will always carry
Your the most special kind of woman any man would be lucky to marry
