The tree

I took a walk into the woods
I was there to find some peace
I sat down in a pile of leaves
When something spoke to me
"Move to the left " it bellowed, " sit down close . Right here.
The sun is hot . I'll move my leaves and cast a shadow there"
Who? What? Where? I thought could this voice becoming from
No one I know is here because no none wanted to come
"Grab a root . Take a seat, you're welcome to lean on me "
I turn to look and low and behold what do you think I see
A tree that talks . A tree that moves . A tree with human features
A scary thing the truth be told . A sought of alien creature
" hi mr tree if you can talk you must have all the answers
Why do floods and famine exist, and what's the cure for cancer ? "
" relax my friend and come in close . If you be so kind
To solve the worlds problems well ......that may take some time "
" why do you speak to me oh tree ? Why are you so friendly ?"
"Are you sure you're not the poison kind ? Speak soft but are so deadly ?"
"Trust me " it said as one branch grabbed my arm
It's second and third branches grabbed my legs and said " I cause you no harm "
It lifted me from the ground , 20 ft into the air
I thought I saw its eyes , a dark and deadly stare.
I yelled and then a branch came up and hit me in the face
I went dizzy seeing stars , my mind was out of place
It lifted me up even higher , then turned me upside down
Another limb grabbed my waist a spun me round and round
The coins I had went falling , shooting out of my pockets
Hitting its roots like tiny round rockets
My book bag and glasses also fell to the ground
I began to lose consciousness then was slammed down pretty hard
The next two days my desk was empty
Kids in class were all asking about me
On the third day the police arrived and found me dead
Cause of death was pronounced blows to his head
So if you want to escape , get away and be free
Don't make it a habit to rest by a shadowy tree.
