Overstimulation
Sounds grow to be too loud,
Bright colors burn into retinas,
Simple brushing against a surface
burns the skin like fire.
These voices sound louder than true,
Screaming in ears, melting insides,
Building anger like blocks
from a child's playpen.
Lashing out on overstimulation,
Driving rage with senses,
Exhausting the brain,
Collapsing on the rage,
Falling over emotions
to leave empty.
Stopping emotions,
Shutting down,
Overstimulation over.
Time to rest,
Reboot.
Prepare for the next fit.
