A Smile and A Single Tear
Eyes hidden behind the tears on her face,
She sits and wish all her mistakes would just erase..
from present to past...from past to present
she wants the regrets in her life to become nonexistent.
She paces and ponders,
and wonder of all the wonders.
Of a life that was never meant to be
and of the people she will never again see.
In a fit of rage,
she reaches for a blade.
Then a red river starts to flow
and a heartbeat begins to slow.
Her lids begins to fold
and her body gets cold.
But, she leaves with no more fear,
just a smile and a single tear.
