Faith versus love
You have nailed me to the rainbow colored cross. When I was young I sang your praises.
Yet you brought down your holy guards to take my head. For I have found love in a man.
I throw myself at your feet and cry out, only to have a bible shoved down my throat.
A vile tasting book of lies and death.I now feel shame from carrying it with me.
Does my love sicken you my Lord?
I am your beloved child am I not?
Your love so strong you would let your own son suffer. Now you will let me suffer out of "love" for me.
I found my love in a man.I found my heart mutilated at the alter of Christ.
Laying underneath a little black book.
