Ruby
My eye has caught a glimpse
Shimmering in the sunlight
Reflecting the beauty of a jewel
I dive my hand in the sand
To uncover the treasure
And I find a beautiful smile
A girl who is not afraid of my words
Ruby red lips the last time I saw her
We shared only a kiss but I want more
Her dark skin is erotic to me
I want to feel her lips against mine again
Be her man and hold her hand
Some say diamonds are forever
But what of a ruby?
The color and shade of love
Like a drop of blood
From a heart so big
You don't have to dig
To find the treasure of my eye
A friend who cares not to hurt
Hopefully she wants to take it slow
I don't want to rush things
I want this feeling to grow
Hopefully she whispers in my ear
All the naughty things I want to know
With those ruby red lips
Her smile is one great show
Shimmering in the sunlight
Reflecting the beauty of a jewel
I dive my hand in the sand
To uncover the treasure
And I find a beautiful smile
A girl who is not afraid of my words
Ruby red lips the last time I saw her
We shared only a kiss but I want more
Her dark skin is erotic to me
I want to feel her lips against mine again
Be her man and hold her hand
Some say diamonds are forever
But what of a ruby?
The color and shade of love
Like a drop of blood
From a heart so big
You don't have to dig
To find the treasure of my eye
A friend who cares not to hurt
Hopefully she wants to take it slow
I don't want to rush things
I want this feeling to grow
Hopefully she whispers in my ear
All the naughty things I want to know
With those ruby red lips
Her smile is one great show
