Broken by ourselves
Long before we met
Each heart breathed
Each lover so deeply
That we suffocated broken
Mirror breaks view rear
A wreck and a wretch
Writ in confession
Written in prayer call
Love made a wasted miracle
Cure me in your eyes
Pure as that first day
We saw azure horizon
And cure me of my lies
For us apart shalt not survive

What we break from being broken can also be repaired. I beieve it takes insight and this piece proves having that.
