Water and air

Time flew bye
A nice breeze is all I needed
To make the fire in my heart
Subside to water and air
It's like breathing after a rain storm
The fresh smell of moisture filling your lungs
With sweetly scented air
My how my heart has started beating
Like a birds wings fluttering to flight
Do I dare say I care?
To make this into another love affair
Honesty and words are all I have
The voice in my head tells me forget
Plat hard to get
But I can not deny how I feel
About this strong woman who held my hand
And will hopefully keep me near
I've done my term of solitude
Already I know I want to call her dear
I'm liquid and she is air
Together we might put the fire out
And creativity is how I share
I hope yes I hope she cares
