Juggling Love Lullabies

You just keep on doing it,
doing what you do.

And I,
In return to smile secretly at
being number one in thought.

This creativity back and forth,
seen, heard. felt
I can't hide it from you.

Smiling with love in my heart yearning
when placed silently on the top shelf;
Times when I have to try and be here
hurts when my heart wants to be singing
love lullabies with you there.

Never let it be said I don't
or didn't,
I just learnt is all;
Learning to juggle me and you.

Though in truth I confess it always
was and is to be about me and you
with I love you's whispered before
we awake.
