Paying homage
Early in our relationship, I realized real quick that I had feelings for you. Feelings so strong I couldn't convey them the way I wanted too. I thought saying " I love you!" would be good enough. It wasn't... enough. No matter, how much I said it, it was never enough. I felt flustered, and frustrated. Like a kid who come home from school with something new, and he wants to demonstrate it, to you! Inside I was screaming Mommy, mommy I got something to tell you. With the anticipation and build up my words would get stuck, and all that would come out was " I love you!" Now, now don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with these three little words that I would say to you. For everybody else, they would do, I guess.. But not for you, you deserved the Best, nothing less would do! Until one day I came over to see you, you said that you had something to share with me. You walked in a room, came back in with sheets of paper, you said you were going to save it for later but, you wanted to read to me! It was poetry! You wrote it, and read it,I will never forget it, it flowed off that sheet paper from your lips and stuck in my heart. Your words created a spark; which ignited a flame, it grew into a inferno, and I was for ever changed. You inspired me lady, Baby, you opened a new world to me now I have a way to say what was deep inside me, that was more than just an ordinary...I love you. For that I thank you! I am forever indebted to you. So now, when " I just called to say I love you," just won't do, I can say... For the love of you, I would find a way. To climb that unclimbable mountain in search for that rarest flower, just so I can... place it in your hair, if just for an hour, I wouldn't care... about the danger. I would be unaware of any danger, impervious to any pain, You're love makes me insane, thoughts of you fill my brain there is nothing else I want to do, no wait, there is nothing I wouldn't do, nor couldn't do to show you how much I love you!
