Heart of Glass
Our hearts of steel
Lay a cool chill
In each others blood.
With our hands still
As we cradle her
Heart of glass
If we change hands
She could fall
It will dissipate to shards
That’s why we both
Must tread carefully
As if walking on broken glass
We must keep both our eyes open
When we sleep
We must
We mustn’t let her fall victim
Of it all
We shant’
And when you go, you’ll return
To her unsuspecting love
That’s when my heart, it’ll churn
It’ll once again turn into glass.
My crystal tears will fall
Until your back in my arms
And guilt tears will sprawl
Until you’ve left her at last
Her paper heart torn
But finally we can hold hands.
Coz it was impossible to hold her heart of glass
And try hold onto my man...
Lay a cool chill
In each others blood.
With our hands still
As we cradle her
Heart of glass
If we change hands
She could fall
It will dissipate to shards
That’s why we both
Must tread carefully
As if walking on broken glass
We must keep both our eyes open
When we sleep
We must
We mustn’t let her fall victim

Coz it was impossible to hold her heart of glass
