As I sit here and position my notepad to a 45 degree angle and squeeze my pen snug up against my index finger and thumb. I slowly prepare myself to write a LOVE poem...Wait!! No scratch that. A friend poem.. No a I just met you but I feel like more than friends but not yet quite lovers poem...Then I try to develop that most sensual and exotic line that may or may not rhyme poem...About a man who came and swept me off my feet. Then I stumble and my fantasy begins to crumble just as I was about to reach my peak...Cuz I want this poem to have such power and passion behind each word. Not the typical roses are red and you turn my skies blue type shit. That damn baby we have so much in common and I can't wait to meet your mom's and thank you for not only pleasing me with that thing that possess such great charisma between your legs but pleasing my mind with such depth conversation...That's the poem I want to write. The poem I want to forever stain in your mind. ya see that poem, that poem will make a nigga stand by your side more than the aroma of that bomb food you cook, or the way you and your tongue make pleasant conversation with his penis....That poem?Shit that poem will make him realize, that I don't just write poems.I just don't rhyme poems for reason.I want this poem to express every ounce of passion that flows from my thoughts to my veins and through this ink....That secretly trying to deny he got me poem...That love watching you sleep and quietly counting your every eyelash while stroking your face in the midnight hour type poem...That would spend all my time finding more time to stand next to your essence poem....This poem?This poem is for u!!!
