That Girl

 You may already know this, but you're that girl
The one my poems are trying to express my love to
Here is my final poem for this one I will remember as a pearl
In the end, I will like to show you that my love is true

I know our first meeting was kind of unconventional
Instead of the formalities and regular 101 we beat each other up
Other than that it was an awesome night and hope this poem is truly intentional
Here I want to start how you made me close up

To be true I want to admit you're one of the greats
When I think or see you I forget what to say
Your eyes can mesmerize the stars that determine fate
And your perfect attitude and humor can change anyone's day

I want to start off by saying you might not feel the same
But you're that girl that one day will need love and I'll be there
You will always catch my eye and put me to shame
From this I understand love's not fair

I shared poems with you that many have asked but never receive
However, you brought me to the light telling me to just let the world know
I want you to be that girl,  my girl who I'll never deceive
In the end, I want to share a first kiss and make our flame grow
