I want to search deeper into your soul,
deeper and deeper still
I want to search ardently
for every facet
in the sanctuary of your humanness
and make it mine
I want to conquer you;
I want to feel you
like delicate raindrops
steadily falling on my face
I want to believe again
in being a child
innocent, hopeful and wide-eyed
to live a life of careless abandon...
Even if it’s elusive and
only
temporary.
