The Meeting Two (part 1 )
The boy was about her age, twelve or thirteen. His hair was as black as the darkest night, plastered to his head with sweat. He was covered with cuts, some still bleeding, others weren't. The smell of blood was seeping dangerously across the small room and closer to her. He would be an easy snack. It would take less than three-hundredths of a second for her to be on top of him and have her teeth into his flesh, but Jane knew better. Her father would know if she so much as put a finger on him. Aro wanted him for experiments, and he was unpredictable when angry. He claimed the boy was human, but the boy smelled magical, his blue eyes wide with awe and fear. Not much different from her’s when she wasn't wearing her contacts.
Her contacts.
She had forgotten all about them. Jane hurried and took them off so that her eyes were a deep blue, instead of blood red.
The boy seemed to relax a little bit.
“My name is Jane. How do you do,” she said, trying to sound as proper as possible.
“D- D- D- Demetri,” the boy stuttered.
“Well ‘D- D- D- Demetri’, welcome to Volterra, my home of stone,” she declared with one of her best smiles.
Demetri smiled back at her, his teeth were a stunning white with only one missing tooth.
“I’ll have to apologize upfront for the experiments father plans to conduct on you. It’s so rare I get a friend, even rarer one my age,” she said continuing to smile.
Demetri’s smile faltered as Jane left the room to plead with her father to not experiment on the boy and let her keep him.
