Draw a blank
I tiptoe
to the shower
for a short break
from the car engines
that have done very little
to soothe my hangover.
I leave the two lesbians
on screen abandoned
and unloved.
I want the page,
but here is distraction;
a fifteen year old
wouldn't know depression
from growing up
if it ruined his life.
Toss it,
throw it
in the bin.
Running water
will substitute
contentment
for long enough
to consider going at it
again.

Doesn't "soothe" have an "e" on the end of it? Aside from that gripe a very good poem. You're probably one of the few writers who can make a reference to porn without it sounding crass or forced.
I like the verse about pretentious fifteen-year old kids. I suffered from depression at that age but it was held firmly in check by the saftey of routine. I could cope and carry on and even smile at times. Since leaving school life has become one gaping void. May I suggest you remove the line "from growing up" though? It disrupts the syntax (for me).
