coffin lake

something vex
a morbid tale
no flow, just still.
a stench, too strong
hold your breath or escape the quicker way
join the lost ones.
from time to time
more passers will come
the cycle is endless.
a lake so deep; black claws that snatch
tears wrap and poison the heart
be transformed into a tear drinker.
the ones with no soul
the ones with no heart
the ones that loathe in madness.
so drift away
take your time
be gone and freed from all living things.
just keep in mind:
'can a heart still beat once it's broken?'
be consumed in the black tears.
a cascade of blackness
that will never be you
but a darker and newer side.
once in, there's no escape
so don't struggle 
just make your bed in coffin lake.
