Sweet tooth
Sugar tongued lethal weapon
Are they words of truth
Or a cloak of misdirection
Micomprehension created by the flesh
Longing to be consoled
Controlled by the warmth of a lie
Words are secret spies
That infiltrate the soul
Make and break the ego
Its a feeling of joy you cant avoid
When those lyrical voices
Consume and fill a void
Thats seemed like an unending abyss
A vaccumed space
Where all your insecurites were placed
Stashed and hidden away
To shed tears over
On a thunderstorm day
They sweep you off your feet
Wishking you away
To a magical fairytale place
Such a digrace that we allow words
To take away pain so easily
Because in a blink of an eye
They can crush our veins
Stopping our heartbeat
And just like that
We can be back at square one
Anchored to all of our problems
But oh what tasty treats
The right words can be
Soften your smile
And glistens your eyes
These sugar tongued lies
These boosts of disguise
Are the difference between
A real tear and fake smile
Are they words of truth
Or a cloak of misdirection
Micomprehension created by the flesh
Longing to be consoled
Controlled by the warmth of a lie
Words are secret spies
That infiltrate the soul
Make and break the ego
Its a feeling of joy you cant avoid
When those lyrical voices
Consume and fill a void
Thats seemed like an unending abyss
A vaccumed space
Where all your insecurites were placed
Stashed and hidden away
To shed tears over
