Living With Pain

 
You beat me down, and say
heal my own pain.
You showed youre true colors,
and now it will never
be the same.

You showed me the deepest
side of you, the part I was
gonna be scared of.
now my life is filled with
nightmares and tears.

Every nights been
cold, laying next to you.
Very little sunshine
warms the ice,

that melts through
youre thickest skin.
Living with this pain
hurts so bad, my life
awakens in the dark.

I keep fighting these flames
that only leave, burn marks
and a third degree, because
I see you with a heart
and a smile, that rips through
my flesh and bones with
strong energy.
