Calm
Sitting in silence
Only the flickering of a candle
Pierces through the black of night
A feeling of calm overwhelms me
My eyes move to the erotic dance of the flame
As I look upon the burning light.
A moment of clairty
A moment of bliss
Remembering the good times
As my breath slows and I start to slip away
A smile begins to form
Across my paled and tired face.
