Carla, dear. This is basically the same thing in a different manner. I'm not defending anyone, but your rational I'm-going-to-bite-your-head-off-with-my-logic is just as attention seeking. And yes, it gets overwhelmingly annoying and you're going to want to bite your own head off! But, dear, just because you don't follow these vain and purposeless "fads" doesn't make you or anyone else any better then them for it. And maybe that's not what you're going at, but it sure as hell seems like it. Flaunting about your problems is a bit meaningless, but admitting them to yourself and other's is a good thing, just taking it to the extremes, however, is not. I have distaste in quite a few things, but I've learned to accept them either way for their positive qualities instead of assaulting them on their flaws. I like some of your stuff, and I like some of your opinions. Some I do not, but overall I wouldn't "hate" on you for the dislikes. Just, do me a favor and open your eyes a little wider, you are a caring person. And if this were a dear friend of yours that conformed to these ways, think about what you would do.

In fact, I wrote this in a minute, in the heat of a pissed moment.
Now, have you peaked into the forums lately?
It's full of flaunting; Depression, sex, drugs, and more cry, cry, cry for me idiocy.
I'd like to open my eyes, but I have to clench them tightly closed. I don't want any of the shit to get in 'em.

What would you rather have it be of?
To flaunt these things is a bit trivial. But honestly, these are trials, and are the make-up of the person as anything else, if not more because of the process of going through and getting through. You hear too much of anything and it gets annoying as hell anyway. Or at least, for most people. I think you are taking something that everyone takes in just as much a bit far too seriously, and you could be more assertive about it if you are really having this much of a problem.
If they are clenched as you say, none of the betters get in either. You can try and rifle through everything and see what you want to, but it is what it is, and always will be. Learn to live in the shitty world, take what you can form it, or make it better.
