Inside My Arms......
“ If ever you're in my arms again
this time I'll hold you forever
there's something between us"......
…..perhaps just my own middle age fantasy
yet, more than just a feeling
strangely magnetic, stirring
Your sun drawn to my moon....
........existing dangerously within the “silence of the lambs”
If ever I dare
to hold you in my arms,
t'would be something marvelous,
bewitching
“ feels like heaven”
the cognition of my mind
finds solace
in her soft whispers.....
......” I can trust you"
this man's heart
fluttering like snow flakes
dancing in the cold January air
falling upon her caramel brown skin
melting away into a steamy vapor
upon her flesh
heady yearnings
on the verge of a thing
let me light your fire......
….lest I brave that first embrace
and all it's sensual persuasions
to hold you in my arms

There is a wisdom in this... And it resonates with me so closely because I keep remembering that every encounter is the first one. And this has kept me exuberant and spry.
