In the rain
Tears fall
In the rain
I stand all alone
Trying to hide my pain
I stand here crying
at your grave
The crash was a
week ago today
It's a miracle I've lasted
this long, alive
But I know it is wanted you'd
want, for me to survive
I've stood here all night
I never moved
I looked like a
mourning statue
And then I see
a golden light
You come and stay with me
through the night
Occasionally we talked
mostly I love yous
Then you kissed me
And I knew what to do
Sixty years pass
in a blink of an eye
I still visit your
grave everynight
You still see me
even though I've aged
And soon it would be time
to join you one day
In the rain
I stand all alone
Trying to hide my pain
I stand here crying
at your grave
The crash was a
week ago today
It's a miracle I've lasted
this long, alive
But I know it is wanted you'd
want, for me to survive
I've stood here all night
I never moved
I looked like a
mourning statue
And then I see
a golden light
You come and stay with me
through the night
Occasionally we talked
mostly I love yous
Then you kissed me
And I knew what to do
Sixty years pass
in a blink of an eye
I still visit your
grave everynight
You still see me
even though I've aged
And soon it would be time
to join you one day
