I'm sorry
I'm sorry, darling
You are the brightest of the lights
Yet, I failed to prove I believe that
The demons I carry got the best of me
Or shall I say the worst?
Fear is my fear
And now my fears have come true
The little boy was labeled
Now you've seen why
It wasn't the monster though,
when he told God he's ready to go
Still he reminded God he wasn't ready to lose what's dearest
Not his life, not money
Instead he seeks something he's never had
The four letter word
But his anger came into place,
nothing mattered
Until he found a flashlight in the tunnel,
and he could see his way though
He saw what was in front of him
The four letter word pumped through him
When he realized, he tried
The diamond lost it's shine,
that same diamond turned to dust
He was to blame
Finally, he came to my grips
But, he still couldn't bring the shine back to the diamond
So now that the thing he lived for dissipated,
he has no light
The tunnel is dark again
The boy does not look for you,
knowing now that you're hiding
Time,
we all need it
He though, needs something else
Words was always his strength,
now it has become his downfall
Down the boy falls,
the wind blowing by his ears blocks everything out
He's alone,
without his diamond he feels useless
Spending years searching and walking made him sore,
but now he's tired
Still he know's he's ready to continue
The four letter word will never leave,
and that boy, me, knows that
He wants his diamond back, shining brighter than ever,
and I will do anything to get it back
You are the brightest of the lights
Yet, I failed to prove I believe that
The demons I carry got the best of me
Or shall I say the worst?
Fear is my fear
And now my fears have come true
The little boy was labeled
