But I Dare to Love Him
Although it wasn't too long ago,
our hearts had found different patterns,
I still find the grace when our lips trace,
to be the greatest feeling.
Though we are not tied,
by a pure white knot.
Though we have tried,
again and again,
the feelings always die.
But I dare to Love him.
We have nothing too great in common,
nothing to share while my mind is everywhere,
and his is stuck on single thoughts,
our expressions and movements do not follow,
the things I do are the opposite of his.
But I dare to Love him.
The people that surround me now,
speak so bitterly that I can taste it on my tongue.
The people that have raised me,
insult him so deeply it hits MY core.
But I dare to Love him.
The one that holds me now,
though sweet and calm,
does not have a key to the door,
that opens my heart.
He is the one I will love,
until with me he is done.
For now I am with this one.
But I dare to Love the other one.
our hearts had found different patterns,
I still find the grace when our lips trace,
to be the greatest feeling.
Though we are not tied,
by a pure white knot.
Though we have tried,
again and again,
the feelings always die.
