Repetitive Patience.
I hate.
When my phone notifies me that
You've finally responded to my message,
And I reply in that instant.
And only hours later do you reply back.
Are you that busy?
I stop almost instantly
For you, but for me,
I suppose you do nothing.
Till it crosses your mind,
You put me off and go about your day.
Fuck that shit.
I say those words knowing that next time
I'll glady reply just as quick.
Then practice patience for you again.
A cycle ugly and repetitive.
When my phone notifies me that
You've finally responded to my message,
And I reply in that instant.
And only hours later do you reply back.
Are you that busy?
I stop almost instantly
For you, but for me,
I suppose you do nothing.
Till it crosses your mind,
You put me off and go about your day.
Fuck that shit.
I say those words knowing that next time
I'll glady reply just as quick.
Then practice patience for you again.
A cycle ugly and repetitive.
