Lost at sea
Lost at sea
30 NOVEMBER 2015, 06:01 PM
Where are you my love?
You said you'd be right back.
You went to sail the world,
And I let you go.
Why?
I should have begged you to stay.
It's been a year since you left,
And I'm here alone.
I miss your arms wrapped around me,
And the taste of your kiss.
I can't sleep at night,
This bed so cold and lonely,
Knowing you're not here.
I look at your picture every minute,
And cry, until there are no more tears.
My heart tears at my chest,
Wanting to hold you again.
I watch the storm in the distance,
And try not to think,
That you are lost at sea.
So I'll come here every day,
To this sandy beach,
And watch the horizon, for your return.
