 You love your wife and children
You’d do anything to protect them
You’d do everything to keep them safe
You’d do all that you could so they weren’t scared
You’d comfort them when they cry
You’d feed them when they were hungry
You’d make sure all their medical needs were provided
 
They love their Wives and children too
They can’t do anything to protect them from bombing
They can’t keep them safe from rocket attacks
They can’t stop them being afraid, everyone lives in fear
They can’t give then real comfort knowing tomorrow will be the same
They can’t always feed them – poverty bites
They can’t always find medical help or medicines

Just stop for a moment and think
Just stop for a moment and be open minded
Park your bigotries for a moment
Forget the racist propaganda you’ve heard
Forget the racist propaganda that you’ve peddled
Try to consider like a decent human being
Stop being selfish just for a second

Imagine you children malnourished
Imagine your children diseased
Imagine your wife taken away and gang raped
Imagine your wife dying from a snipers bullet
Imagine your children screaming and dying in front of you
Imagine your children dead in the street
