SUGAR TO SHIT
When they ask for the color back,
we just share a childish laugh.
We had stolen the vivacious light.
Hid the stars from mother's night.
Peeled off pieces of the sky.
Chemically intertwined.
Changed the quantum, sequenced code.
For our amusement,for our control.
Now...
Residual sweetness left like bloodstains.
On hands and knees, I lick the faded taste.
An un reachable knife in my back.
She took it all, after shedding her mask.
Cicada wakes me,summer torture.
Everything I couldn't do for her.
The oxygen is a suffocating cage.
I watch it burn out...
the last star I saved.
