All That Remains,,,
Once Upon A Cold Winters Morning,,,
A Knocking Came Upon My Door,,,
And I Was Home,,,And So Alone,,,
As I Opened Up The Door,,,
There Was No One There,,,
So I Stepped Out On The Porch,,,
And Into The Distance,,,So Cautiously Stared,,,
And There I Stood,,,And So Alone,,,
And When I Turned Around,,,
To Go Back Inside,,
My House Had Vanished,,,
And My Home Was Gone,,,
I Wandered Around The Yard,,,
Where My House Once Stood,,,
The Grass And Vines Had Taken Over,,,
From The Encroaching Woods,,,
I Wondered Where My House Had Gone,,,
And All That Remained,,,
Was This Single Stone,,,
Where My House Used To Be,,,
A Single Stone,,,
Where Once Stood My Home,,,
And Now The Grass And Vines,,,
And Even Trees Had Grown,,,
And I Tried So Hard,,,
To Understand,,,
What Had Happened,,,
Where Had It All Gone,,,
There In My Yard ,,,
Solitary And All Alone,,,
There Now Stood,,,A Single Stone,,,
And Upon This Stone,,,There Bore My Name,,,
And Of The Life I Had,,,
Was All That Remained,,,
Just The Dates And Name,,,
Of A Life Once Lived,,,
A Stone Wore Smooth,,,
By The Wind And Rain,,,
And Then Grown Over,,,
By Grass And Vines,,,
And Lost Somewhere,,,
In The Mist Of Time,,,
Turned Into A Pebble,,,
And Washed Away,,,
And As A Grain Of Sand,,,
Upon Some Beach,,,Layed,,,
A Final Resting Place,,,,
Out There Somewhere,,,
Lost,,,In Time And Space,,,
And Recorded In History,,,
On Some Yesterday,,,
And Of The Millions Of Lives,,,
Their Faces And Their Names,,,
A Grain Of Sand,,,
Is All That Remains,,,
A Knocking Came Upon My Door,,,
And I Was Home,,,And So Alone,,,
As I Opened Up The Door,,,
There Was No One There,,,
So I Stepped Out On The Porch,,,
