A frost of diamonds
The white dress shines against her thighs. The frost
Of diamonds that adorn her neck and ears
Is cool enough; and the effect’s not lost
On you, although she struggles and her tears
Are just as jewelled as each stone she wears;
They add to her attraction, while she cries
Excitedly to find that her affairs
Are known to you: the secrets she supplies
Add to the tenderness that barely shows,
As you enter the landscape of her youth,
The frosts that decorate her become snows,
And she is driven to discover truth
Lies at the heart of every soft caress
She entertains, wearing that fine white dress.
Of diamonds that adorn her neck and ears
Is cool enough; and the effect’s not lost
On you, although she struggles and her tears
Are just as jewelled as each stone she wears;
They add to her attraction, while she cries
Excitedly to find that her affairs
Are known to you: the secrets she supplies
Add to the tenderness that barely shows,
As you enter the landscape of her youth,
The frosts that decorate her become snows,
And she is driven to discover truth
Lies at the heart of every soft caress
She entertains, wearing that fine white dress.
