Magic Wand
A magic wand
So fascinating, so bright
Unraveling its mysterious beauty
On days where there is no light
So cosmic, words fall short to describe
Your presence is here, quite near, in the moonless night
Magic wand, so close to my heart
Closer to the cracks on my skin, you always shake me with a start
On days that the sun is shining and the mind is fearless
You betray, dear friend, and hide in the closet
On days when the evils of my spirit enlighten
You appear like the grace of a divine action
Magic Wand, your intentions are cruel
But you make me forget those grueling thoughts
Thank you for inflicting me with pain
for without which my mind would be cluttered with harmful ideas
For every mistake I make, I thank you for being by my side
Correcting me, causing a rash, a scar. But it is better when it is on the outside
Magic Wand, although it is time for you to leave
I have grown up and I cannot be deceived
But I wish you could stay forever. Correct my wrongs. Make me forget to think deep
But before you leave I have a request, If you oblige me, I will most certainly be pleased
Magic Wand, will help me lay in my bed, and put me to sleep?

Magic wand, symbolic of man? Or just what it is.
Enjoyed this, think that there is greater depth of thought displayed here than in the wand itself.
Your pieces obviously make me think, that's why I made suggestions, probably should limit them to question form, or pm you.

You had a thought, magic wand. Expand that. Thought maybe it was a phallus symbol but never quiiite went there, which is cool, gives the reader the ability to feel whatever they want about it and sets their thoughts afloat!

A magic wand could be ANYTHING! But now that I re-read it, it goes both ways as a metaphorical phallus or an actual wand. For me, it is the cane used for beating (it is a wand, and it corrects me when I am wrong)
