Stellar Gods

Supernovae explode in your eyes,
I know it hurts to see but I had to show you,
I had to bring you to this place,
So you could witness a beauty like yours.
After the spectacle,
The galaxy is our playground,
We can dance from Earth to Dione,
I just want you to believe you are not alone in the universe.
Stella Interlopers
Planet sized Diamonds,
Black holes and anti-matter,
In my arms you will be safe to witness them all.
Do you like what you see?
From this bubble we can float forever,
Self sustaining,
Never needing to return to ground.
What more could we want?
Thousands of years and we have barely scratched the surface,
You watch science in action,
I watch the reactions on your face.
Virgos entwined,
Leo’s rampant,
Scorpio assassins,
Libra council.
We witness the births of suns and you give them names,
Guess at the fates of their orbiting worlds,
From here we are Gemini,
From here we are Gods.
