Evasion

Her Heart yearned for Death,
She loved the sadness of it
but was obsessed with the beauty of it,
Needed to be surrounded by it,
Even hungered for it.
The first time i met her I died a thousand times, maybe more,
Heart failure, fatal blows to the mind, random acts of stupidity...
The works.
But she craved things like twisted dreams.
She liked to feel a fading life clutched within her grasp
And watch the Soul evade its host when it breathes last.
She craved something that I could give her only once.
Something I had no use for any longer and which I could give
To whomever I wish.
To her, if anybody, HER. To Her I'll give my mortal soul,
She craved it as much as I craved letting go.
Its Her salvation, Her haven, Her sanctuary,
And tucked inside Her morbid Heart
Is where I'll find my peace.
I kissed her for the first and last time today,
Just once, and upon touching her lips
I was a soul set aflame then cold on the floor,
Set free from a chain to be bound never more.
I was a Soul that eased her pain, Her Heart was my new shell,
I am Her New Parasite , She is my new Hell.
